Burnout: The Importance of Good Rest

More than three quarters of UK staff (79%) have experienced burnout, with 35% reporting extreme levels. Understanding ways in which we can recharge helps to reduce the symptoms before they impact on our lives. In this session we present the phases of burnout, we focus on sleep, and highlight the 7 types of rest we all need to perform at our best. There is insight and technique throughout to create your own personal rest kit.

Understanding and Managing Stress

We all face stress, the key is understanding how stress shows up for us and how to manage stress so that it doesn’t negatively impact on our health and happiness. In this session we will cover the stress response, what your individual triggers and symptoms may be and some techniques to increase your capacity for stress and reduce its effect.

In our course “Mindfulness and Work” we will highlight the benefits of mindfulness and provide tools to enable you to bring formal and informal mindful practice into your professional and personal life.

With the pressures and busyness of everyday life it can be easy to forget how to look after our wellbeing, not to mention spotting when a friend or colleague may be struggling. In this session we will explain the different elements of wellbeing, including how to build your own self care toolbox and how to spot signs and have empathic conversations with those around you.
